Hello from Maryland. My name is Don Winslow and I lead two Writing For Wellness groups that started in May. One meets in Salisbury once a month, the other in Ocean Pines twice a month. All participants are either Cancer survivors or Cancer caregivers. I look forward to sharing ideas and experiences that can enhance all the WFW programs.

My wife and I are both Cancer Survivors. My Prostate Cancer was diagnosed in 2003, my wife’s Breast Cancer in 2006.

In 2005 I attended a workshop on Healing Through Poetry in Salisbury. That workshop changed my life.  I’m hoping to help others also discover the healing effects of writing.
