We had 30 again yesterday at Mission. Lots of interest in the flier, too. Good idea to pass it out there. People came from Costa Mesa, San Juan Capistrano, Lake Forest, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, Whittier and Fullerton. I had them sign their names and emails. Those towns are just the ones I remember. Probably many more. Really mixed group–some patients, some caregivers, some with nothing to do with illness, a woman writing a book, others with anger [ ... ]
Class Reports, Most Inspirational
Just back from the session. There was 30 people there! A big crowd in a small room. Nice group. They laughed, cried and listened to the teacher when appropriate. Two brought laptops. Men and women attended. Youngest looked to be in her 20s; oldest was probably 75. A good number raised their hands and read aloud, even on that first day. We had our “prize” basket and passed out things acordingly.
